Base Salary

$120k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

Own core backend features spanning client interactions, API requests, database queries, and scalability challenges.
Ship stable, readable, and well-tested code serving Notability’s business.
Communicate clearly and proactively through written communication, conversations, AI-assisted workflows, and pull request descriptions.
Drive work to completion by navigating ambiguity, feedback, and edge cases.
Solve difficult problems in unfamiliar areas and collaborate across disciplines.
Balance product and technical needs through open collaboration.

Evidence of shipping something real professionally or independently.
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
Good judgment and ownership of outcomes rather than tasks.
Strong collaboration, trust-building, and feedback skills.
Solid understanding of web fundamentals, including browsers, networks, asynchronous behavior, and application state.
Fluency with AI coding tools.
Demonstrated curiosity through something independently built, written, or figured out.
