Solution Architect - BY WMS Configuration/Implementation - Professional Services
Blue YonderResponsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of Blue Yonder WMS implementation solutions and define supporting business process workflows.
- Design, develop, unit test, validate, and support modifications and production issues.
- Configure Blue Yonder/RedPrairie WMS and architect integrations, interfaces, reports, screens, and system modifications.
- Lead project teams in preparing functional specifications, product requirement specifications, and modification test plans.
- Facilitate integration, architecture, data-flow, and process-flow discussions with customers and project stakeholders.
- Support change management, quality delivery, customer demonstrations, test script execution, documentation, and go-live activities.
- Provide Level 3 technical and user support, verify data integrity and business functionality, and guide Support Services in resolving issues.
- Serve as a technical liaison among project managers, customer contacts, users, development services, support services, partners, and executive sponsors.
- Contribute to the technical consulting practice through practice aids, databases, and best-practice collateral.
- Comply with project methodology and time, travel, and expense procedures, and travel as required by business needs.
Requirements
- 12–16 years of corporate experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
- Expertise in technical WMS product configuration, solution integration, quality assurance, system testing, PL/SQL, SQL Server, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder/RedPrairie WMS configuration, Jasper reports, Nice Labels, PageBuilder, and MOCA.
- Knowledge of interfaces between WMS and ERP/host systems, TMS, WLM, T&T, Parcel, and third-party systems.
- Knowledge of integrations with Voice, Material Handling, and ASRS systems.
- Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance and work independently.
- In-depth knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, integration and middleware technologies, applications, databases, and technical infrastructures.
- Strong customer relationship, communication, presentation, analytical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Azure fundamentals and WMS product-line technical requirements.
- Availability and willingness to travel based on business needs.
