Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end feature development from requirements and design through implementation across global deployments.
- Create high-quality, clean, scalable, reusable ABAP code and champion software engineering best practices.
- Develop and enhance applications using OO ABAP, CDS views, RAP, SAP UI5, and Fiori Elements.
- Build end-to-end solutions covering data modeling, user interfaces, service exposure, and REST API integrations.
- Enhance or support BOPF-based applications involving business objects, nodes, actions, determinations, and validations.
- Contribute to SAP BTP integration, CAP, Clean Core, and extensibility initiatives.
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across the full application stack.
- Maintain technical and functional documentation that supports business needs.
- Contribute AI development, AI use cases, and AI adoption within the team.
- Participate in SAFe ceremonies and collaborate with team members, the team architect, and product owner.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proficiency in ABAP programming.
- Hands-on experience with OO ABAP, CDS views, RAP development, and SAP UI5/Fiori Elements.
- Experience designing, developing, and enhancing applications using the SAP RESTful ABAP Programming Model.
- Experience building end-to-end solutions from data modeling through UI and service exposure.
- Experience building interfaces based on REST APIs.
- Good understanding and practical experience with BOPF-based applications, including business objects, nodes, actions, determinations, and validations.
- Good understanding of SAP BTP integration, CAP, Clean Core, and extensibility concepts.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in agile, cross-cultural, global teams and participate in SAFe ceremonies.
- Proactive use of AI tools and mindset toward fostering AI adoption and developing AI use cases.
