Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Drive platform architecture, technical standards, design reviews, technical debt reduction, and scalability planning.
- Mentor mid-level and senior engineers, distribute complex work, and establish coding, review, testing, and engineering practices.
- Own critical systems from design through production support and improve reliability, observability, incident response, deployment, and developer productivity.
- Partner with Product and Customer Success and collaborate across Ireland, the U.S., the Philippines, and Australia to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
- Build and maintain integrations with SAP, Oracle, Workday, banks, and other financial systems to retrieve transactional data.
- Develop machine learning models and analysis systems for cash-flow prediction, forecasting algorithm selection, variance analysis, anomaly detection, seasonal trends, and customer payment behavior.
- Build flexible worksheet engines, distributed processing and caching strategies, real-time dashboards, visualization components, and automated covenant and variance notifications.
- Lead modernization from legacy systems to a cloud-native platform supporting enterprise treasury workflows and rapid implementation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience and 3+ years working on complex, business-critical production systems.
- Experience with significant-scale products, end-to-end production system ownership, on-call support, critical incidents, and technical designs implemented by teams of 3+ engineers.
- Experience mentoring at least two engineers, establishing technical patterns, and leading technical spikes and multi-quarter cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency with at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipeline design, and observability practices.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, message queues, multi-tenancy, data isolation, RBAC, authorization, audit logging, compliance, API versioning, backward compatibility, feature flags, and progressive rollouts.
- Deep expertise with C#/.NET; expert relational database knowledge, ideally SQL Server, including query optimization, indexing, and data modeling.
- Experience building large-scale multi-tenant applications and RESTful APIs, with understanding of GraphQL, gRPC, and webhooks.
- Deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Preferred understanding of cash positioning, forecasting, liquidity management, banking systems, payment rails, financial data formats, multi-currency handling, exchange rates, time zones, financial compliance, data privacy, and third-party financial system integrations.
