Responsibilities
- Build production AI agents, Python services, and MCP servers for tool orchestration, context handling, and model routing through OpenRouter.
- Build integrations for payments, identity, e-signature, real-time data, and other latency-sensitive platform workflows.
- Develop rules engines and configuration runtimes that allow customers to create new products without code changes by the company.
- Build importer pipelines and batch reconciliation services for company migrations with zero data loss.
- Scale multi-tenant batch systems for settlement runs, document pipelines, and asynchronous workers while maintaining data correctness under load.
- Design public APIs and contracts used by the customer ecosystem and AI agents.
- Build financial systems for billing, payouts, commissions, refunds, and other transaction cycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of Python web development experience, particularly with financial systems or modules.
- At least 3 years of experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- At least 3 years of SaaS product development experience, including cloud-based solutions.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Django or another Python framework.
- At least 2 years of experience building and consuming APIs for financial transactions.
- Daily, deliberate use of agentic AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Codex.
- Ability to direct AI agents on multi-file, long-horizon tasks.
- Advanced mathematical skills in financial modeling, algorithms, and data processing.
- Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
- Professional experience with Docker for containerization and AWS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience at a scaling startup, spec-driven development, production AI agents or multi-step LLM pipelines, multi-agent workflows, and fintech or financial services experience.
