Base Salary
$110k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy Python/LLM API or Node.js automation tooling and AI-assisted workflows for client onboarding, data transformation, and implementation verification.
- Architect and validate REST/SOAP API connections, webhooks, and secure transaction flows between client ERPs, payment gateways, and Fiserv processing engines.
- Build automated test suites and CI/CD validation pipelines for merchant configurations, state management, and asynchronous transaction flows.
- Maintain implementation tooling repositories, conduct peer code reviews, and optimize backend scripts for reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot integration failures, API mismatches, and data payload anomalies and conduct root-cause analysis during client implementations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience building integration tools, automation frameworks, or backend microservices.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Java and required familiarity with Node.js/TypeScript for full-stack automation.
- At least 3 years of experience engineering automated workflows involving state management, multithreading, and asynchronous event processing.
- At least 3 years of experience writing, optimizing, and debugging SQL queries across relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience deploying tools in AWS, Azure, or GCP using Git, Docker, and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with OpenAI APIs, Claude, LangChain, generative AI workflows, payment lifecycles, PCI-DSS, SAP ECC/S4HANA, Oracle EBS, JD Edwards, and Linux/Unix shell scripting.
