Base Salary

$108k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop integration and verification plans that map system requirements to test cases, pass/fail criteria, and traceability artifacts.
  • Understand system-level requirements and perform system interface checkouts.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans, cases, and procedures covering software functionality, performance, configuration, and compliance.
  • Learn system architecture, design, functions, and capabilities to support integration and testing of new capabilities and enhancements.
  • Analyze and debug system-level issues, provide supporting data, and work with systems engineering and software teams on solutions.
  • Document and track system defects and verify corrective fixes.
  • Perform testing in physical and virtual test labs and prepare systems, procedures, and inputs for customer-present testing.
  • Coordinate testing, communication, and planning with customers and Leidos personnel.
  • Execute formal testing and demonstrate run-for-record results to achieve customer acceptance for releases.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 9+ years of professional experience, or a master’s degree in a related discipline with 7+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience with Agile methodology, principles, and tools.
  • Ability to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer.
  • Experience following a documented integration and test development process.
  • Experience developing and executing automated system integration and test solutions.
  • Experience using UNIX and Linux operating systems.
  • Proficiency building and maintaining automated test suites.
  • Hands-on experience integrating large, complex software systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with internal and external customers.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Air traffic control or flight service experience is desired.
  • Knowledge of AI-assisted development workflows and tools such as Claude Code and Codex is desired.
  • Knowledge of air traffic control systems, general aviation, FAA/DoD systems, and related technical policies, standards, and orders is desired.

Benefits

  • Pay range is $107,900.00-$195,050.00 per year.
  • The role supports U.S. government programs and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a favorable FAA Public Trust investigation.
  • Applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
