Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a CAD tool with a Java kernel and MATLAB interface.
  • Implement algorithms such as geometrical operations for innovative MEMS sensor designs.
  • Optimize the tool for efficiency, usability, and user experience.
  • Ensure tool reliability through rigorous testing.
  • Automate design workflows to reduce sensor development time.
  • Support users in applying the CAD tool.
  • Apply modern AI capabilities to design workflows.
  • Collaborate with in-house R&D teams and customers in an international, multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements

  • Education in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics, or a similar discipline, with a track record in software development.
  • Experience with Java is required, preferably in desktop application development.
  • Experience and curiosity in using modern AI capabilities are required.
  • CAD or numerical algorithm experience is strongly preferred.
  • Programming experience in MATLAB is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of mechanical simulations using finite-element analysis is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) is advantageous.
  • Professional English communication skills are required.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, initiative, adaptability, and continuous-learning skills.
