Responsibilities
- Support and execute product enhancement requests for the proprietary underwriting platform.
- Participate across the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, code review, deployment, and support.
- Gain hands-on exposure to .NET, Angular, C++, SQL queries, and AI.
- Triage and troubleshoot production support issues with end-users.
- Assist with software release planning and follow code changes through deployment.
- Support software development projects in an agile setting.
Requirements
- Complete at least two years of college or university coursework in Computer Science, or pursue an MIS program with an emphasis on programming.
- Have experience with object-oriented programming languages; .NET is preferred, with Angular and C++ also considered.
- Some SQL query-writing experience is preferred, and AI skills are a plus.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Have a strong customer service focus and sense of urgency.
- Be able to quickly adapt to and learn new technologies and systems.
- Prior related co-op, internship, or on- or off-campus technical experience is preferred but not required.
