Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional lead with ownership of team code, design, and project delivery.
- Solve complex technical challenges across distributed systems using multiple programming languages.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and optimization opportunities.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, propose solutions, and evaluate technical trade-offs.
- Collaborate with product managers to decompose projects and prioritize work.
- Build user-experience platforms for content discovery across mobile, web, and living-room devices.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Mentor and guide other developers.
Requirements
- Strong coding and system-design skills in Java or Golang.
- Experience building high-scale distributed domain-driven microservices.
- Proficiency with MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, or DynamoDB.
- Strong problem-solving and production-debugging skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 7–9 years of experience in backend development.
