Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and ship high-quality, high-performance products and features.
- Own major portions of the codebase and lead project deliverables.
- Drive improvements to engineering processes, tools, systems, codebase scalability, and team productivity.
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and analytics teams to solve impactful problems in a data-driven experimentation culture.
- Contribute to project estimation, planning, execution, and integrations.
- Maintain and improve the existing codebase.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with user-facing products.
- At least 3 years of experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, React Native, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and Amplitude, or confidence in cross-training and up-skilling.
- Ability to independently take projects from idea through implementation and ship quickly while maintaining quality.
- Strong interest in collaborating closely with product and design across design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Startup or scale-up experience is preferred.
- Interviewing familiarity is preferred.
- Alignment with Nourish’s mission to improve health through nutrition.
