Base Salary
$140k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain foundation models for spacecraft design automations.
- Design self-supervised and low-data model training schemes.
- Deploy automation tooling to accelerate spacecraft design processes.
- Create agentic VLM frameworks to parse technical documents into engineering constraints.
- Build and train models using reinforcement learning for multivariable design spaces.
- Interface with simulation tools and CAD environments to ensure physical constraints are met.
- Collaborate with engineers to test code in real hardware environments.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, ML/AI, or a related field.
- Significant experience in ML/AI through research or projects.
- Experience in classical algorithm development.
- 4+ years of experience building advanced ML/AI systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and C#.
- Ability to evaluate tradeoffs between simulation fidelity and manufacturability.
