Base Salary

$100k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead application feature development and guide software design, architecture, coding, testing, debugging, and optimization.
  • Provide global production support for cloud-based applications and troubleshoot complex Oracle applications, Oracle Cloud infrastructure, integrations, APIs, and service interactions.
  • Translate requirements into scalable, maintainable, and performant implementation plans while establishing API and system dependencies.
  • Lead code reviews, enforce coding and architectural standards, apply secure coding practices, and improve software quality.
  • Design and implement scalability, availability, reliability, observability, monitoring, error logging, and performance optimization strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, mentorship, and architectural support to less experienced engineers.
  • Collaborate with customers, product managers, designers, QA teams, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and prioritize enhancements.
  • Coordinate moderately complex project tasks, timelines, deliverables, and work across multiple projects.
  • Participate in candidate interviews, hiring recommendations, talent development, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field involving coding, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 6 years of total software development experience building scalable solutions and web applications.
  • Ability to write production-quality code in Java, GoLang, C#, or similar object-oriented languages.
  • Experience delivering products across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with large-scale, highly distributed services infrastructure and mission-critical tier-one live-site operations.
  • Experience designing architectures for high availability, scalability, flexibility, and future business needs.
  • Preferred experience as a technical lead on large-scale applications and systems.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with a public cloud platform such as OCI, AWS, or Azure, plus Kubernetes and Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code language.
  • Preferred knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, computer networking, Linux internals, Linux/Unix troubleshooting, KVM, containers, and Docker.
  • Strong communication, systematic problem-solving, ownership, mentoring, hiring, and technical leadership skills.

  • The posting provides a U.S. hiring range of $99,600 to $209,500 annually, with possible bonus and equity eligibility.
