Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly team goals while leading engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
- Identify and lead resolution of project, process, technology, and business issues.
- Create and monitor metrics, support artifact availability, and participate in keep-the-lights-on and on-call efforts.
- Set and improve code review and design standards and advocate for quality through writing and technical talks.
- Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and leading by example.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing and architecting mobile applications, preferably with React Native.
- Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript, or demonstrated ability to work with similar languages and learn new technologies.
- Experience creating technical plans and elegant, simple, extensible designs for significant features or system components.
- Ability to make significant changes safely in large codebases using appropriate tools and practices.
- Strong ownership of professional growth and proactive feedback-seeking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
