Base Salary
$234k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical leader to improve the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of cloud infrastructure systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to audit and elevate reliability and operational practices.
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of key infrastructure components.
- Lead the transition from infrastructure delivery to a platform and internal product model.
- Define golden paths, self-service capabilities, and guardrails to reduce toil while ensuring security.
- Engage in collaborative technical design and mentorship across a distributed organization.
Requirements
- Experienced staff-level engineer with a track record in infrastructure, reliability engineering, or platform development.
- Skilled at partnering with teams to improve engineering processes and deliver high-quality code.
- Comfortable navigating and influencing across engineering, product, and technical program management.
- Strong background with at least one major cloud provider; experience with multiple is a bonus.
- Proficient with Kubernetes and familiar with operating infrastructure in production at scale.
- Able to balance hands-on implementation with broader strategic thinking.
