Base Salary
$87k - $144k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own design direction and technical quality, security, and performance for squad applications, services, and data pipelines.
- Design, build, and maintain Java Spring Boot applications, React user interfaces, and Python data-processing and delivery pipelines.
- Lead code reviews, complete complex feature development and bug fixes, and uphold coding best practices.
- Drive backlog refinement, technical estimation, and sprint and release readiness in an Agile environment.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for cross-team dependencies, integrations, and risk resolution.
- Mentor peers and promote responsible use of approved AI coding assistants and AI-accelerated development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with ownership of technical direction and cross-functional delivery.
- Proven full-stack experience with Java and a modern JavaScript framework, plus Python experience building data-processing or data-delivery pipelines.
- Advanced proficiency in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot, and proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Experience with data transformation, delta or batch file generation, validation, and automated client data delivery.
- Working knowledge of Airflow or equivalent workflow orchestration, scheduled batch processing, and distributed or large-scale data-processing frameworks.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL data stores, document databases, and search or indexing technologies.
- Experience with Azure, AKS, Azure App Services, Cosmos, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, Git branching strategies, and test-driven development.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot in VS Code or IntelliJ, prompt engineering, AI-assisted code review, test generation, and refactoring.
