Base Salary

$87k - $144k/yr

Responsibilities

Own technical direction, architecture, quality, security, and performance across applications, services, and data pipelines.
Design, build, and maintain Java Spring Boot applications, React user interfaces, and Python data-processing and delivery pipelines.
Lead code reviews, complete complex feature development and bug fixes, and uphold coding best practices.
Drive backlog refinement, technical estimation, sprint execution, and release readiness.
Serve as the primary technical liaison for cross-team dependencies, integrations, and risk resolution.
Mentor peers and champion responsible use of approved AI-assisted development tools.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of technical direction and delivery guidance on a cross-functional team.
Proven full-stack development experience with Java, a modern JavaScript framework, and Python data-processing or data-delivery pipelines.
Advanced Java/J2EE and Spring Boot proficiency, including development of microservices.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
Working knowledge of workflow orchestration, scheduled batch processing, and distributed or large-scale data-processing frameworks.
Experience with relational and NoSQL data stores, document databases, and search/indexing technologies.
Experience with Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes cloud-native development.
Strong command of GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, Git branching strategies, and test-driven development.
Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants, prompt engineering, AI-assisted code review, test generation, and refactoring.

U.S. national base pay range is $86,600-$144,400, with geographic differentials and a New Jersey range of $102,333-$163,467; the role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
