Base Salary

$208k - $274k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Expand reliability standards and operational tooling across product engineering.
  • Architect and manage SLO and error-budget programs.
  • Drive adoption of progressive delivery, automated safety gates, and rollback infrastructure.
  • Guide product teams on production readiness, observability, incident response, and deployment health.
  • Partner with Platform and Infrastructure teams to build intuitive self-service platform features.
  • Direct critical incident response and ensure post-mortem actions produce lasting platform improvements.
  • Scale reliability safeguards for increased code-change volume from AI-assisted development.

Requirements

  • More than 8 years of professional experience in backend systems, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
  • Proven experience designing reliability programs such as service maturity models or SLI frameworks with cross-team adoption.
  • Direct experience building or operating canary rollout systems, metric-gated analysis, or automated rollback infrastructure.
  • Technical proficiency in software development, preferably with Go or similar systems languages.
  • Ability to influence engineering culture and drive organizational change without formal authority.
  • Strong technical judgment in high-stakes production scenarios.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, service mesh technologies, Prometheus, or ArgoCD is preferred.
