Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance software tools supporting insurance product development, underwriting workflows, and risk management.
- Develop and integrate solutions using RESTful APIs and internal or third-party services.
- Automate business processes through services, scheduled jobs, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and enhance WinForms and WPF desktop applications.
- Resolve issues and drive continuous improvement focused on business needs.
- Collaborate with database administrators and software engineers to support data integrity, application reliability, and system performance.
Requirements
- Require 7 to 10 years of software engineering experience.
- Require strong experience with ASP.NET, C#, .NET, jQuery and/or React, relational databases including SQL and PostgreSQL, and RESTful API integration.
- Require knowledge of MVVM design patterns and experience with process automation, service setup, job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Require the ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Preferred qualifications include ArcGIS or ArcGIS Pro, spatial data management, Python, R&D experience, iterative business-unit software support, and insurance industry experience.
