Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs, backend services, and data sources.
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable front-end components.
- Translate mission requirements and user workflows into intuitive production-ready interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and improve application performance, responsiveness, reliability, and scalability.
- Perform front-end testing, debugging, code reviews, and defect resolution.
- Participate in source control, automated builds, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployment processes.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product owners, testers, and mission users to deliver integrated software capabilities.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 2–6 years of relevant experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to successfully pass a polygraph examination.
- U.S. citizenship as required by the contract.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and a modern front-end framework such as React or Angular.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining production web applications.
- Experience with source control tools such as Git and Linux-based environments.
- Ability to translate technical and user requirements into functional software solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience includes TypeScript, Docker or containerized environments, GitLab and GitLab CI/CD, AWS or other cloud environments, Grafana or similar data visualization tools, accessibility and usability practices, Agile software development, data-intensive or GEOINT workflows, and Figma.
Benefits
- Pay range is $87,100.00–$157,450.00 per year.
