Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and scale Jenkins and Tekton CI/CD infrastructure.
- Design and manage plugin infrastructure and lifecycle processes.
- Develop Java and Spring Boot microservices for CI/CD orchestration and platform capabilities.
- Architect distributed systems that improve pipeline scalability and reliability.
- Design and manage file systems and storage infrastructure for artifacts, caching, logs, and pipeline data.
- Implement telemetry, monitoring, observability, dashboards, and operational insights for CI/CD and storage systems.
- Improve pipeline efficiency, reduce systemic failures, and drive automation, modernization, and standardization.
- Collaborate with global teams to maintain high availability and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in a Java backend technology stack.
- Strong experience operating Jenkins at scale, including masters, agents, plugins, upgrades, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Tekton or cloud-native pipeline orchestration.
- Proven experience developing microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong background in distributed systems design and distributed computing.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Understanding of file systems, storage architectures, artifact storage, and performance optimization.
- Strong automation and scripting skills, with Python preferred.
- Experience building telemetry, monitoring, and observability systems.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and reliability engineering skills.
- Ability to take ownership of critical production systems.
