Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack web applications.
- Develop internal digital solutions supporting automation, digitalization, and advanced agentic AI use cases.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct code reviews, and help define development standards.
- Make backend and frontend architectural decisions across Java, Spring Boot, React, and Angular.
- Deploy and operate applications in Docker and Kubernetes environments on cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Adopt and integrate AI-enhanced coding tools and automation frameworks.
- Optionally contribute UX expertise to create intuitive and efficient interfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economical Informatics, Information Technology, or Programming Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in web application development.
- Experience with Java and/or Kotlin, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Knowledge of Angular with TypeScript and/or React.
- Knowledge of SQL and SQL extensions such as PL/SQL or T-SQL; MongoDB and other NoSQL/NewSQL experience is advantageous.
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Intermediate English proficiency; German is advantageous.
- Experience with agile methodologies and productive operations of developed code is a plus.
- Logical and systems thinking, communication skills, teamwork, motivation, flexibility, and a proactive can-do attitude.
