Responsibilities
- Learn how to interact with the IEX Exchange using the existing platform.
- Develop dashboards and tooling to enhance and test the exchange platform through a full-stack project.
- Identify and propose platform enhancements based on direct observation and analysis.
- Collaborate with Core Development, Data Engineering, Market Ops, SRE, Business Development, and Regulatory teams to gather requirements and improve their workflows.
- Troubleshoot issues and help advance technology development, exchange products, and regulatory initiatives.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java.
- Comfort with scripting, building, deploying, and configuring software in a Linux environment.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar concepts quickly and work effectively across business lines.
- JavaScript, Node.js, and SQL experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial markets is helpful but not required.
- Interest in market structure and electronic trading is a bonus.
