Base Salary
$86k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Establish testing strategy and tools for cloud software systems and features.
- Test cloud technologies individually and within the broader product ecosystem.
- Identify and categorize bugs, assess feature completeness, and evaluate system reliability and performance.
- Automate repetitive and regression testing across versions of end-user client software.
- Perform API, backend, programmatic-level, user-level, and manual testing.
- Provide QA expertise, advocate for customers, and own and drive complex projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- 5–7 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
- At least three years of automation testing experience and three years of manual testing experience.
- Strong experience testing APIs and backends for cloud technologies.
- Strong coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, and services.
- Experience with at least one modern programming language, such as Go or Python.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a robotics background, experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies, and experience working in a lab environment.
