Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship well-tested Salesforce features with high standards for code quality and maintainability.
- Develop advanced Apex triggers, classes, queueable jobs, and schedulable processes for Work Orders, Service Appointments, Assets, and Field Service entities.
- Build enterprise-grade Lightning Web Components for dispatcher consoles, technician mobile interfaces, and service timelines.
- Implement CTI, IVR, scheduling-engine, inventory, and ERP integrations using supported Salesforce APIs and Platform Events.
- Customize Salesforce Field Service Core, including Service Resources, Territories, Skills, Shifts, Work Types, and Maintenance Plans.
- Develop scheduling and optimization logic for travel time, capacity models, and load balancing using Field Service APIs.
- Implement Omni-Channel routing, presence, and case/work-order assignment rules with Apex and Lightning Web Components.
- Troubleshoot scheduling, mobile synchronization, routing, and dispatch failures across multiple system integrations.
- Optimize Apex, SOQL, and asynchronous processing for high volumes of cases, work orders, and appointments.
- Create reusable Apex frameworks, utility classes, Lightning Web Component helpers, and test-data factories.
- Deliver unit and integration tests and support CI/CD pipelines for Field Service releases.
- Create data models, sequence diagrams, integration specifications, and other technical design documentation.
- Use Agentforce Vibes, Salesforce Copilot, and other AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 7–9 years of professional experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
- Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and managing SOAP, REST, and Bulk API integrations.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, Service Cloud, and Salesforce Field Service architecture, capabilities, and constraints.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Copado and Jenkins, including CI/CD pipeline design and optimization.
- Experience building scalable data models, security models, and complex technical solutions for Sales and Sales Operations.
- Experience with middleware products for integration.
- Experience with Agentforce, Salesforce Copilot, AI-powered development practices, prompt-engineering standards, and coding accelerators.
- Experience working in a Scrum/Agile development environment.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and escalations and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript beyond basic Lightning Web Component usage is preferred.
