Responsibilities

  • Develop wireless solutions and implement new features.
  • Perform code reviews, code optimization, refactoring, bug hunting, and bug fixing.
  • Integrate and debug wireless components on the company’s platform.
  • Assist the FAE team with customer development issue support.
  • Produce unit, functional, integration, and interoperability tests, including test automation when advantageous.
  • Work with the Product Planning Team to understand system requirements.
  • Collaborate with validation and system test teams to triage issues and communicate status to management.
  • Scope software development work, delegate tasks, identify resource and technical gaps, and address challenging technical issues.
  • Write technical documentation including white papers, architecture diagrams, module documentation, and API descriptions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with 802.15.4 technology, including Zigbee or Thread software debugging with sniffer tools and protocol analyzers.
  • Experience with Git version control, unit tests, and continuous integration.
  • Strong low-level software debugging skills using GDB, emulators, and JTAG.
  • Expertise in performance and power optimization.
  • Experience with Zephyr.
  • Knowledge of peripheral protocols including I2C, I2S, MSPI, UART, PDM, and TDM.
  • Experience with Bluetooth/BLE or RF tuning/calibration is a plus.
  • Strong communication and technical communication skills.
