Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test Azure-based data integration and migration pipelines.
- Contribute to solution design and technical documentation while translating client requirements into deliverables.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation across source and target systems.
- Develop and maintain application and integration code using version control, code review, and testing practices.
- Support deployments and environment management, including Infrastructure as Code where applicable.
- Troubleshoot data quality, performance, and pipeline issues.
- Gather requirements from client stakeholders and demonstrate delivery progress.
- Support Senior Consultants and Managers with estimation, planning, and risk identification.
Requirements
- Typically 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, integration, or software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure data stack, including services such as Data Factory, Synapse, Azure SQL, Storage, and Functions.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one general-purpose language, such as Python or C#.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, data modelling, and data migration methodologies.
- Experience with source control using Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to work in client-facing delivery environments and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake is desirable.
- Cloud development and Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM is desirable.
- Exposure to data orchestration tools, APIs, and event-driven integration is desirable.
- Financial services, private equity, or alternative-assets experience and relevant Azure certifications are desirable.
