Responsibilities
- Design, build, launch, and operate customer-facing features and services end to end.
- Write high-quality, well-tested software that is scalable, reliable, fast, and safe to deploy.
- Improve latency, availability, and operational health, including participating in on-call during peak events such as Prime Day.
- Partner with Product, UX, and teams across Amazon to turn ambiguous ideas into measurable customer experiences.
- Contribute to the evolution of the Detail Page architecture and use AI-native tools and agents in development, testing, and operations.
- Review designs and code, mentor junior engineers, and help raise engineering standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of video games industry experience supporting title development, release, or live operations.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
