Responsibilities
- Plan, build, maintain, and continuously improve infrastructure.
- Partner with developers to create and improve deployment strategies and pipelines.
- Monitor infrastructure and respond to abnormalities.
- Create and maintain documentation for internal systems.
- Develop and maintain operational administration, backup, disaster recovery, and security and performance monitoring solutions.
- Deploy applications using automation and configuration management tools.
- Define, document, evolve, and promote engineering standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Advanced Microsoft and Linux server administration expertise.
- Proficiency with Git and GitFlow development models.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, or Puppet.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with TeamCity or Jenkins.
- Strong cloud infrastructure experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience with Grafana or Prometheus for cloud infrastructure monitoring.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, AKS, Docker, or OpenShift, plus Helm, ArgoCD, and Traefik.
- Strong networking fundamentals and experience with virtualized environments.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Bash, Python, PHP, or Go.
- Experience with ELK Stack or Splunk for log management and monitoring.
- Experience developing GitHub Actions and familiarity with deployment tools such as Octopus Deploy.
- Knowledge of RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ message queuing systems.
- Understanding of Redis or Memcached in-memory data storage systems.
- Knowledge of Nginx or HAProxy web server and load-balancer technologies.
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
