Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, launch, reliability, scalability, maintainability, and performance of core cloud-platform features and production systems.
- Translate product and customer requirements into end-to-end delivery plans and adapt implementation as requirements change.
- Mentor earlier-career engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and pairing.
- Identify and resolve technical debt, risks, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, business, and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business-critical features and services.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience contributing to a software engineering team.
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, a scientific field, or an engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing and shipping production systems for scalability, reliability, operability, and maintainability.
- Clear communication in design documentation and cross-functional discussions.
- Preferred: experience with cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and tooling, preferably AWS and its listed services.
- Preferred: experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Preferred: experience with near-real-time or real-time analytics and time-series databases.
- Preferred: proficiency in C#.
