Base Salary
$213k - $263k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mission-critical full-stack web applications for real-time autonomous vehicle support.
- Improve the end-to-end reliability and performance of Fleet Response systems.
- Build frontend and backend infrastructure, robust APIs, and integrations with upstream and downstream services.
- Scale the Fleet Response platform to meet reliability, performance, and functionality requirements.
- Advise cross-functional engineers on effective use of web application systems.
- Partner with Waymo SRE to drive global scalability and high availability for real-time platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study.
- 4+ years of industry experience with frontend and backend web applications.
- Familiarity with web client architectures such as Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS.
- Experience with C++ is preferred.
- Experience building high-reliability distributed systems or RPC services is preferred.
- Experience partnering with SRE and bringing technical and non-technical groups together is preferred.
