Responsibilities
- Provide post-sales technical expertise during product installation, implementation, and post-implementation servicing.
- Deliver pre-sales technical support through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and partner enablement.
- Provide implementation consulting, configuration guidance, troubleshooting, and best-practices support to customers.
- Present technical product training and train customers and partners in product administration and use.
- Coordinate with customers, partners, sales, support, lab, product management, and project management teams to resolve complex issues and deliver projects.
- Review customer implementations for supportability, maintainability, scalability, best-practice adherence, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead or participate in large implementation projects and complete delivery and administrative tasks across the project lifecycle.
- Share customer feedback with product management and support ongoing customer retention.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in a related Information Technology position.
- At least 5 years of project management, consulting, or team lead experience.
- At least 5 years of development, application lifecycle, or change management experience.
- Senior-level skills in enterprise application development, IBM i application development, business process requirements and design, and database technologies.
- Experience with Java, .NET, Web, Oracle, SQL, DB2, i5/OS, Windows, and/or Linux.
- Proven critical-thinking, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-management, communication, and time-management skills.
- Previous customer-facing consulting experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience.
- Previous travel-oriented experience is preferred.
