Responsibilities

Build new services to meet critical business needs using Golang, GRPC, Typescript, and React.
Support team members in design techniques and best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
Demonstrate awareness of Coinbase’s platform and development practices to deliver improvements.
Participate in generating and transforming innovative ideas into action.
Foresee potential issues and adapt approaches to avoid adverse impacts.
Communicate complex technical themes to both technical and non-technical leaders.
Collaborate with teams across multiple time zones.

At least 3 years of experience in software engineering.
3 years of experience in developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and React.
Experience with third-party vendor integrations.
Familiarity with large-scale, high-traffic platforms and implementing scalable services.
Experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar technologies.
Knowledge of rate limiters, caching, load balancing, and debugging.
Experience in event-driven architectures and proficiency in SQL or NoSQL databases.
Proficiency in Go.
