Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate end-to-end full-stack features across React front ends and Python or .NET back-end services.
- Model and query relational data in PostgreSQL or SQL Server, emphasizing correctness, performance, and data quality.
- Deploy and operate Azure workloads provisioned and managed with Terraform.
- Integrate LLM and AI capabilities into member, provider, and internal product experiences.
- Work with the Databricks data platform and engineering partners on data quality and automated PHI governance.
- Lead technical design and code reviews and improve quality through testing, observability, and CI/CD automation.
- Break large initiatives into incremental deliverables, targeting a first useful increment within four weeks.
- Partner with product, design, and clinical stakeholders on product decisions while upholding security and HIPAA/PHI obligations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production web applications.
- Strong front-end skills with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Strong back-end skills in Python or .NET/C#, including designing and consuming APIs and event-driven systems.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or SQL Server, including schema design and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating workloads on Azure.
- Experience with Terraform, automated testing, CI/CD, and containerized deployment using Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
- Demonstrated AI fluency and interest in building AI-powered features.
- Experience owning work end-to-end and delivering incrementally in a fast-moving environment.
- Preferred qualifications include production AI or LLM feature development, Databricks and data pipeline experience, healthcare or regulated-domain experience with PHI under HIPAA, comfort with both Python and .NET and both PostgreSQL and SQL Server, and mentoring experience.
