Responsibilities

  • Design and develop WLAN systems for automotive infotainment systems.
  • Design and implement 802.11 and WiFi 7 protocols, including P2P, NAN, TWT, WPA3, STR, MLSR, eMLSR, and MAC-layer protocols.
  • Debug and optimize WLAN drivers and firmware for performance, reliability, power consumption, and synchronization.
  • Implement wireless protocols in C and resolve interactions between threads, applications, and kernel space.
  • Test and validate protocol performance, security, and interoperability.
  • Collaborate with PHY, marketing, and cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Use protocol analysis tools and stay current with WiFi 7 technology and protocol development.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in the WiFi domain.
  • Strong expertise in automotive WLAN and infotainment systems.
  • Strong knowledge of 802.11 protocols, including P2P, NAN, TWT, and WPA3.
  • Experience designing and developing WiFi 7 protocols, including STR, MLSR, and eMLSR.
  • Proficiency implementing protocols in C.
  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP and PCIe host buses.
  • Ability to diagnose driver synchronization issues across threads and application/kernel interactions.
  • Strong knowledge of the internal workings of an embedded operating system, specifically Linux or Android.
  • Experience with Wireshark and tcpdump.
  • Knowledge of protocol testing, performance optimization, security, interoperability, and wireless standards.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-site work environment.
