Responsibilities
- Define and maintain frontend architecture in collaboration with client technical leadership.
- Set coding conventions, code review practices, linting, testing strategy, and the definition of done for frontend work.
- Set and monitor performance, accessibility, security, cross-browser compatibility, and device support.
- Break down epics technically, provide estimates, identify risks, and unblock the team during sprints.
- Represent frontend concerns in collaboration with backend/API, UX, QA, and architecture teams.
- Coach developers, run technical sessions, support hiring and onboarding, and help grow team seniority.
- Manage the technical debt backlog and plan upgrades and migrations.
- Communicate technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs to clients and management.
Requirements
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
- Experience with CSS-in-JS, specifically PandaCSS.
- Strong communication skills and proactive participation in discussions.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously while taking ownership of tasks and decisions.
- Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate repetitive work, support decision-making, and improve outcomes.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly, validate outputs critically, understand limitations, and own final results.
- Experience with Node.js, Headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, and Playwright is preferred.
