Base Salary
$150k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop data transforms for text, JSON, XML, databases, and configuration files.
- Gather feature requests and application requirements from project and customer needs.
- Explore unfamiliar datasets and collaborate with analysts to identify appropriate questions and approaches.
- Develop and enhance tools to improve application and data-processing performance.
- Manage and support mission-critical servers and applications, including server framework development and system administration.
- Support applications and servers in production environments.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or four additional years of experience in place of the degree.
- Eight years of software-development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with data frameworks such as Pandas or Polars.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases such as SQLite, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Git and GitLab for source control and collaborative development.
- Familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript and React or another modern frontend framework.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers and incorporating feedback.
- Experience supporting applications and servers in production environments.
