Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to evaluate challenges and opportunities and discuss technical solutions.
- Participate in and lead discussions about selecting and creating client technology ecosystems.
- Share best practices for technical solution designs and guide client conversations.
- Configure and extend applications to meet business needs.
- Design and build supportable technical solutions based on best practices.
- Design and create architectures for reporting, analysis, and integration data.
- Design and create cloud-based environments for project delivery and production-system management.
Requirements
- Strong coding capabilities in Endur JVS and/or OpenComponents, SQL, Java, C#, and various .NET languages.
- Understanding of Endur technical architecture; Endur functional knowledge is a plus.
- Five or more years of commodities-industry, consulting, or vendor experience.
- Understanding of energy supply, trading, and risk management.
- Basic understanding of options valuation and Value at Risk methodologies.
- Ability to structure complex problems, understand business and user context, communicate effectively, and work with teammates and clients.
- Motivation to develop and follow programming standards.
- Degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics are valued.
- Experience with Allegro, RightAngle, CXL, or other commercial energy trading and risk management solutions is valued.
- Experience with option pricing models, risk models, applied mathematics or statistics, and advanced analytics is valued.
- Interest in quantum computing, AI, and ML is valued.
