Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology activities, application development, and model development.
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs for specific business needs.
- Monitor and control development phases including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
- Provide user and operational support to business users and consult with clients and technology groups.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Develop security measures and evaluate system usage after implementation.
- Define operating standards and processes and ensure required procedures are followed.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
- Assess and report technology, compliance, and business risks with limited direct supervision.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and autonomy and act as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders or team members.
