Base Salary
$225k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications for CLEAR's identity platform.
- Own projects end-to-end from technical discovery to operational support.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Security, and Operations to create scalable technical solutions.
- Enhance system reliability, performance, testing, observability, and developer experience.
- Contribute to architectural decisions for scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Mentor teammates through code reviews and sharing engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience with Java, React, and TypeScript.
- Strong technical fundamentals in distributed systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud-native applications using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven track record of owning complex, cross-functional projects from idea to production.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and make thoughtful tradeoffs.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and improving engineering practices.
