Responsibilities
- Architect, code, and operate Okta’s CI/CD platform using Go and Python.
- Build and scale Kubernetes-based build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Develop services and automation across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Create robust, self-service internal developer platform products.
- Optimize large-scale distributed compute workloads for speed, cost, and reliability.
- Lead major platform initiatives, mentor engineers, and set technical direction.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong software engineering experience building complex systems in Go and/or Python.
- Deep practical experience building, operating, and troubleshooting Kubernetes workloads, including pods, operators, scheduling, and networking.
- Experience architecting, building, or significantly scaling CI/CD pipelines as a platform for other engineers.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure and their core services.
- Fluency with Docker, container registries such as Artifactory, and build systems such as Gradle or Bazel.
- Ability to lead complex cross-functional projects and operate with a platform and internal-customer mindset.
- B.S. in Computer Science, equivalent technical experience, or a demonstrated track record of shipping complex systems.
