Base Salary
$80k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create test plans, test cases/scripts, bug reports, and quality and risk assessments.
- Conduct functional, sanity, boundary, negative, compatibility, concurrency, and in-depth QA testing.
- Write and automate tests to improve regression coverage in collaboration with the automation group.
- Verify test outcomes within established schedules and timelines.
- Work with software engineers, product managers, and QA testers in an Agile team environment.
- Develop deep expertise in assigned products.
- Mentor junior software quality assurance professionals in QA methodologies and skills.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant work experience, including software development and/or software test automation.
- Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches, including black-box and automated testing.
- Experience writing and automating test cases for short software release cycles.
- Working knowledge of SQL database queries.
- Strong expertise with Unix/Linux command-line tools for log analysis.
- Strong expertise with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience coding in Java and/or mobile programming languages.
- Preferred experience with Jira, Confluence, Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, SaaS environments, remote teams, and health or life sciences.
- Preferred experience with mobile testing and automation using Appium, XCUI, Espresso, or KIF.
- Preferred experience developing Android or iOS mobile applications.
