Responsibilities
- Build and evolve cloud platforms in AWS and Azure.
- Automate infrastructure and operational work using Terraform, Ansible, and related tooling.
- Design scalable cloud solutions and provide technical advice to clients.
- Lead small teams, mentor junior engineers, and guide delivery teams.
- Collaborate with sales on technical discovery, solution scoping, proposals, and pre-sales activities.
- Work with engineering, data, and sales teams to shape platform architecture and business outcomes.
- Participate in project planning and coordinate work across Europe and US time zones.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience working with cloud systems or infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Experience with Linux, DNS, VPN, TCP/IP, and firewalls.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Programming knowledge in at least one language.
- Experience in consulting, client-facing work, or pre-sales engineering, including scoping and proposals.
- Strong project management, multitasking, time management, and remote-work skills.
- Curiosity, business awareness, and English proficiency at C1 level.
- AWS or Azure certifications, developer-platform experience, R, Spark, data-pipeline tools, data-engineering experience, or a project-management certificate are preferred.
