Base Salary
$120k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Triage alerts generated by cloud security posture management tools.
- Threat-model cloud services and respond to cloud security incidents through investigations.
- Create scripts and automation workflows to improve cloud security operations.
- Deploy infrastructure as code in cloud environments using Terraform.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts, evaluate security tools, and foster vendor relationships.
- Configure and create custom cloud monitoring and alerting functions.
- Collaborate with leadership on policies and standards for containerization, infrastructure as code, cloud configurations, cloud network security, and compute workloads.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of overall IT experience with a major emphasis on information security.
- At least 3 years of experience building and integrating systems within cloud providers.
- Strong knowledge of Azure and GCP; strong knowledge of AWS is an extra qualification.
- Proficiency using APIs with automation to complete tasks.
- Understanding of containerization technologies and experience with log analysis software and techniques.
- Experience working with Jira.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and CIS Controls.
- AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are an extra qualification.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail skills.
