Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Use multiple programming languages, databases, container orchestration services, and AWS tools.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
- Refactor systems, reduce technical debt, and improve performance.
- Evaluate emerging tools and practices while contributing to long-term technology strategy.
- Mentor engineers and support professional development across technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred experience includes a master's degree, 7+ years coding in multiple listed languages, database experience, cloud experience, open-source framework contributions, frontend JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing frameworks, Git-based version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-based coding tools, interactive AI tooling, mentoring engineers, observability, distributed-system performance optimization, cross-functional engineering initiatives, and establishing coding standards and design patterns.
