Responsibilities
- Build graph compilation and runtime systems for efficient on-device machine learning model execution.
- Develop compiler optimizations, runtime components, and machine learning operator primitives for Apple products.
- Support model authoring, optimization, transformation, execution, debugging, profiling, and analysis across the ML development workflow.
- Create infrastructure and toolchains for machine learning workloads running on Apple devices and resource-constrained embedded systems.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area.
- High proficiency in C++ or Swift and familiarity with Python.
- Experience with a compiler stack such as MLIR, LLVM, or TVM.
- Familiarity with operating systems, embedded programming, and parallel programming.
- Sound understanding of machine learning fundamentals and common architectures such as Transformers.
- Strong communication skills, including communication with multifunctional audiences.
- Preferred: experience with on-device ML stacks such as TFLite, ONNX, or ExecuTorch.
- Preferred: experience with ML authoring frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Preferred: experience with accelerators or GPU programming.
