Responsibilities
- Develop AI frameworks that enable PyTorch models to run on Google Cloud TPUs and GPUs and tune them for peak performance.
- Support ML frameworks and compilers on Cloud TPUs and GPUs for large-scale machine learning training and deployment.
- Enable PyTorch models for generative models, computer vision, machine translation, language modeling, rankings and recommendations, and speech recognition.
- Collaborate with Google teams and industry researchers to expand ML capabilities in the PyTorch-in-Cloud offering.
- Contribute to open-source software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, C, or Python.
- Experience leading cross-functional software-oriented projects from inception to delivery.
- Five years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, JAX, and PyTorch, plus hardware performance analysis involving TPUs and GPUs.
- Experience with compilers and compiler construction.
- Experience programming in Python.
- Ability to navigate and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
