Responsibilities
- Build and ship AI-powered applications using Python and/or Node.js with LangChain and LangGraph.
- Implement multi-step, tool-using agent workflows that interact with APIs, vector stores, databases, and enterprise applications.
- Build and tune RAG pipelines, prompt templates, embeddings, and integrations with NLP/NLU models.
- Develop agent integrations through REST APIs, connector frameworks, and MCP-style tool registries.
- Create evaluation harnesses and observability systems covering tool-call accuracy, hallucination rates, task completion, tracing, prompt evaluation, failure analysis, and regression testing.
- Implement guardrails, access controls, validation, safety mechanisms, logging, and audit patterns for multi-tool agent systems.
- Manage structured and unstructured data pipelines using SQL and NoSQL databases, and contribute to full-stack delivery connecting LLM backends to modern frontends.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 1–2 years of hands-on LLM or agentic-framework development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Node.js for AI and backend development.
- Working knowledge of OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, and LangGraph.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool integration, function calling, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, multi-agent workflows, context windows, and conversational state.
- Experience integrating external tools, APIs, and enterprise SaaS applications through function calling, tool registration, REST APIs, or connector frameworks.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases in AI pipelines.
- Experience writing agent or LLM test cases and evaluation harnesses, including accuracy, hallucination, tool-call correctness, LLM-as-a-judge evaluation, benchmarks, and automated regression testing.
- Understanding of access control, audit logging, AI security, prompt injection, data leakage, permission boundaries, and agentic-system guardrails.
- Strong debugging skills and ability to implement complex multi-step systems within an established architecture.
- Preferred: experience with AWS, GCP, Docker, GitHub Actions, AI observability, guardrails, safety mechanisms, data warehouses, or analytical query engines.
