Responsibilities
- Design and code automated test cases using Java.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on software.
- Implement automated tests with Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Log, track, and manage software defects using Jira or similar tracking tools.
- Participate in application systems analysis, programming, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology activities, and application development.
- Analyze complex application problems and evaluate business and system processes.
- Recommend and develop security measures during post-implementation analysis.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Provide user and operational support, advise junior analysts, and help define operating standards and processes.
- Assess risk and support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.
