Responsibilities
- Design scalable end-to-end mobile architectures for cards and payments transaction flows using Objective-C and SwiftUI.
- Define modular mobile design standards and reusable components with Swift Package Manager.
- Translate cards and payments requirements into mobile architecture blueprints covering transaction handling, card lifecycle operations, and payment processing.
- Guide engineering teams on clean code, separation of concerns, optimized rendering, and mobile architecture practices.
- Establish secure and resilient networking patterns for payment gateways, card services, and backend APIs.
- Develop automated unit, integration, and regression testing strategies using XCTest.
- Review mobile designs and code for architectural risks, performance bottlenecks, and security gaps.
- Coordinate with security and compliance teams to incorporate regulatory standards, authentication, data storage, and audit requirements.
- Document architectural decisions and reference implementations for distributed teams.
- Mentor engineers in component-based design, XCTest testing practices, and Swift Package Manager.
- Analyze production metrics and user behavior to refine performance and architectural decisions.
- Coordinate mobile integrations with external payment partners and drive continuous improvement of payment workflows.
Requirements
- 10 to 13 years of experience in mobile application design and architecture.
- Extensive experience with Objective-C and SwiftUI for complex, high-performance mobile interfaces and architectures.
- Practical expertise with Swift Package Manager for modular codebases, dependency management, and maintainable mobile platforms.
- Strong proficiency with networking libraries for secure, efficient, and resilient mobile communication layers.
- Deep domain experience in cards and payments, including transaction lifecycles, card issuance and servicing, authorization patterns, and risk considerations.
- Solid experience with XCTest and related testing practices for payment flows, card operations, and integration points.
- Familiarity with broader mobile design patterns, accessibility, inclusivity, and emerging technologies is preferred.
- Experience with hybrid collaboration models and documentation practices is preferred.
- Exposure to mobile performance tuning, latency analysis, resource optimization, and scalability challenges is preferred.
- Certified Payments Professional or an equivalent mobile development or recognized iOS architecture certification is preferred.
