Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy resilient, scalable full-stack applications.
- Build responsive and accessible Angular interfaces using TypeScript, HTML5, SCSS, and state management libraries.
- Architect and implement Java/Spring Boot RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
- Design data models, write optimized queries, and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Integrate code into CI/CD pipelines, containerize applications with Docker, and support Kubernetes or OpenShift deployments.
- Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues, and perform testing and debugging.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend programming solutions and support applications.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and act as a subject matter expert to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications development role.
- Experience with Angular, Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with TypeScript, HTML5, SCSS, NgRx or RxJS, relational databases, and NoSQL stores.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear written and verbal communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and the ability to manage deadlines and changing requirements.
